Stage Manager, Mirvish Productions

Mr. Porter’s achievements include many of Toronto’s major commercial musical theatre productions such as: The Sound of Music, Jersey Boys, Dirty Dancing, The Lord of the Rings,Hairspray, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Miss Saigon, and Les Misérables. His stage management career spans 25 years and includes varying genres such as, Opera, Circus, Repertory, Touring, Industrial, Theme Park and Cruise Ship experience. Along with Mirvish Productions, Mr. Porter has worked with Disney, Cirque du Soleil, The Stratford Festival, Dancap, Livent, Canadian Stage Company, Soulpepper Theatre Company and Manitoba Theatre Centre, as well as, Canadian Opera Company, Edmonton Opera, Manitoba Opera and Opera Lyra Ottawa. Although based in Toronto his career has led him to New York, Las Vegas, London, England, The Bahamas, and Venice, Italy.
