Equity Stage Manager

Lisa is a Calgary based stage manager who started her professional career over twenty years ago at the Citadel Theatre.  She works primarily in theatre and musical theatre, but has also worked in dance, opera, film festivals and special events.  Lisa worked at the Stratford Festival for seven seasons and was the production stage manager at the Banff Centre for the Summer Arts Festival for four years.  She continues to work in Banff each summer on the Midsummer Ball Gala Fundraiser.  She has assistant stage managed for Calgary Opera and has also served as interim production manager and onsite producer for their Opera in the Village.  In recent years, Lisa has frequently worked for Globe Theatre in Regina, Western Canada Theatre in Kamloops and the Chemanius Theatre Festival.  Favorite credits include: Romeo and Juliet, A Soldier’s War, The Drowning Girls, George Dandin (Globe Theatre), The December Man, Steel Kiss (Green Thumb Theatre), Les Misérables, The Attic, The Pearls & Three Fine Girls (Western Canada Theatre), The Pirates of Penzance (The Grand Theatre), Pride and Prejudice, As You Like It (The Stratford Festival), Sunday in the Park with George (Equity Showcase Theatre / George Brown College), and A Man For All Seasons (The Citadel).
