Terms & Conditions

  1. Registration may be made in advance by email or online at www.stagemanagingthearts.ca.
  2. Applications must include payment in full, paid by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or PayPal.
  3. If you are paying by credit card, you will be sent an electronic invoice so you can pay online through PayPal once your registration has been received.
  4. S.M.Arts reserves the right to substitute instructors.
  5. All classes are on a first-come, first-served basis. Your place will be guaranteed upon registration with the required course fee.
  6. S.M.Arts understands the stage manager's need for flexibility in scheduling. To that end, we will hold 2 seats for same-day enrolment. Please call on the day of the course to confirm your attendance: 416-200-7588.
  7. If you must cancel your registration:
    • 7 or more days prior to the day of the class:
      75% of course fee refunded
    • 3 to 6 days prior to the day of the class:
      30% of course fee refunded
    • 2 days or less prior to the day of the class:
      NO REFUND
  8. In the event that S.M.Arts cancels a course, 85% of your registration fee for that class will be refunded.
  9. Four courses can be cancelled for a Conference Passholder then the 85% policy is initiated for any remaining cancelled courses.
  10. S.M.Arts reserves the right to determine participants’ continuation in any course, and will pro-rate refunds accordingly.
  11. S.M.Arts will only be accepting participants who are currently working as stage managers or who have the goal of becoming a professional stage manager.
